Price Import Definitions

A Price Import Definition allows you to download the Price File directly from Finswitch using the Finswitch Download File method. The Finswitch web service wsdl and the Method is defaulted in the Definition setup screen.

The Price file is generated daily and is available for download at 18:00 each day. Use the Moorgate Process Schedule to automate the daily download. You can also import the file from Finswitch directly from the Import Price screen.

The parameters are those exposed by the Download File method

login and password: Login Credentials for a Finswitch user that can execute the web services. This is a special type of user in Finswitch and does not have permissions to log into the Finswitch web application. Your security custodian should be able to create this user for you

fileType: The type of File to download. Defaulted to PD, the Finswitch Code for a Price File

fileDate: The Date for which the file must be downloaded. It is defaulted to today's date (T0). The process is always run for T0 if it is automated. You can download the file for a different day if you run the process manually

onlyDownloadIfFileChanged: If the process is run multiple times, the file will only be downloaded again if there is new Data in it

companyCode: Your unique company identifier with Finswitch
